CHARACTER, COMPASSION, EMPATHY AND HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION FOR YOUTH
As it is more evident that we are a global family our youth must learn that our common humanity is the key to a more peaceful world. They must be taught we can disagree without demonizing, debate without demeaning, and discuss without degrading. These compassionate behaviors are the prerequisite to a healthy life. It is necessary that our youth are educated in values that promote kindness and compassion in this world where they see violence and incivility daily. Audiences:

BULLYING AND CYBER-BULLYING PREVENTION EDUCATION
HREC offers bullying prevention education in classroom settings, workshops, conferences, business environments and community dialogues. Our mission is to present quality researched based bullying prevention practices in order to promote safer schools and work environments. Bullying prevention education is necessary to the health of a civil society.
Our programs address various forms of bullying that occur in and out of school, in cyberspace and the workplace. Bullying prevention education first defines bullying behaviors and then examines the causes and effects of bullying in our society. Audiences:

INTERACTIVE DIALOGUE FACILITATION
When a space is created where all voices and opinions are held in mutual respect new ways of seeing are revealed. HREC facilitates conversations that reveal our common humanity.

ART OF HOSTING INTERACTIVE PARTICIPATORY LEADERSHIP TRAINING
This highly effective form of joint leadership training is where the conversations are designed around what is desired to be developed and learned. The Art of Hosting uses interactive methods to bring forward the collective wisdom of the group. Through meaningful exchanges and careful attention given to all aspects of people working together, creative solutions are collectively revealed. These workshops are ideal for colleagues, businesses, nonprofit organization and people of like interests.
Arts Education is proving to be an effective method of teaching young people critical thinking skills, empathy and compassion. HREC collaborates with artists to create inclusive curriculums using drama, dance programs, rhythm and music, visual art, puppetry and more. The programs include themes of kindness and inclusion. Frequently they conclude with an interactive dialogue with the audience.
